The St. Nicholas Cathedral Foundation was founded in 2002 in order to tap into the entrepreneurial talents of the Russian Orthodox community. The main purpose of the Foundation is to explore and implement new and extraordinary fundraising methods to fund special projects for the Cathedral.
The Foundation has sponsored several successful fund raisers including two successful concerts and two lucrative auctions. These fund raisers helped raise sizeable donations for Cathedral restoration projects and our two schools.
In addition to fund raising, the Foundation organized and sponsored special parish events and publication. In particular, the Foundation sponsored the 75th Anniversary Banquet and published the beautifully designed booklet, Celebrating 75 Years.
